During July 2026, Nemanja Mišić completed another successful secondment at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, Italy, continuing key activities within the EU-funded REMARKABLE project.
Building upon the foundations established during earlier exchanges, this visit focused on advancing work within WP4: Demonstrating, Validating and Assessing REMARKABLE Solutions. The primary focus was on defining comprehensive, multi-dimensional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and refining the impact assessment framework, which together help measure the real-world deployment and effectiveness of the project’s IoT and environmental monitoring solutions across pilot sites.
Beyond technical milestones, this secondment served as a fantastic platform for international networking and cross-disciplinary knowledge sharing. Working on-site provided an inspiring atmosphere to reconnect with long-time project partners and forge new connections within the scientific community.
A special highlight of this stay was connecting with Sara Blanc Clavero, Profesora Titular de Universidad at Universitat Politècnica de València, bringing valuable perspectives to ongoing research discussions.
We extend our sincere gratitude once again to the entire ICTP team for their warm hospitality, continuous guidance, and supportive environment throughout the stay.
The insights, shared experiences, and strengthening partnerships gained in Trieste will continue to drive our shared vision forward across upcoming REMARKABLE project activities.
